I'll do the accounts; you earn the money

Are you a small business? If so, you can only do so much alone. And I probably don't need to explain that spending hours managing your accounts, just to save a few dollars, can be a false economy when you could be spending time on what you do best and what generates income.

Spreading yourself too thinly can result in making mistakes with essential tasks, like book keeping, payroll and PAYE. This ultimately results in disgruntled employees and "stern" letters from the tax man.

A flexible accounting service

I can help you. I provide flexible accounting services when needed - there's no need to hire a full-time accountant.

You may wish to handle some accounting tasks yourself or you may prefer to hand them all to a professional. Either way, I can help you as much or as little as required.

Tax Returns and End of Year Accounts

I am a registered Tax Agent with Inland Revenue (IRD) and a member of the Accountants and Tax Agents Institute of NZ (ATAINZ).

Book keeping services

I'll handle all of your data entry, GST, PAYE and FBT returns.

Payroll services

I will manage your payroll. You can rest assured your employees will be paid correctly and on time; that their leave entitlements will be recorded correctly and that PAYE and Kiwi Saver returns will be lodged on time to IRD.

Management reporting

Good reporting helps you understand how well your business is going. I will provide monthly or quarterly reports to enable you to measure your business' financial performance against key performance indicators of your choice. This could include your business' performance against budget by job, or cash-flow projections for the next 12 months.

Quality assurance

If you are managing your accounts in house, I can check that everything is in order - be a fresh pair of eyes. For example, I can review your accounts prior to the preparation of your GST return or before you send them to your accountant at year end.

I can also "troubleshoot" to help find errors as well as post end-of-year journals to reconcile to your accountant's final numbers.
